A
report on the Get Together :
As
scheduled, the get-together of the Chokhani family members of Bombay took
place on 25th Oct’2K at Malad in Bombay.
To say that the event was a resounding success would be an
understatement.
The
attendance was total with over a hundred persons spanning four generations
joining the meet. It was one
of the rare occasions where all the senior citizens were present at one
place and the sight of them collectively showering blessings on all was a
sight to behold.
Even
those who are ailing or are infirm, made it a point to attend the meet.
One
member also utilised the opportunity to distribute wedding invitations to
those present, thereby extending the effectiveness of the meet.
An announcement about the launch of this site was also circulated.
With
positive reactions from one and all, and an affirmation to continue the
event in the years to come, the get-together ended with a sumptous
breakfast of piping hot snacks with soft drinks, tea and coffee.
